Notes:	This is a great opportunity to join this employer of choice in central Newport in a role offering study support towards ACCA or CIMA. Job purpose: To participate and assist in the timely preparation and smooth distribution of all Management Information required for running the business and meeting group deadlines. Assist the Senior Accountant in the preparation of management accounts, budgets and audit requirements Duties: Preparation of weekly performance report Recharge journals - monthly Timely submission of regional rebate invoices to group Approve invoices Preparation of weekly payments schedule Month end reconciliation and journal posting Stock and usage reporting Price negotiations – spreadsheet updates Approving invoices Monthly posting of various journals Monthly reconciliations Assisting with month end submissions Assisting with budget models Assisting with audit requests The person: Studying towards recognised accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA etc) – study package will be available Computer literate with good Excel skills Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to plan and organise workload Effective communication skills and ability to deal with financial and non-financial individuals Ability to identify and solve problems Work as part of a team Benefits: Study support towards ACCA, CIMA etc. 25 days holiday + bank holidays + Birthday Hybrid working (minimum 1 day per week in office) City Centre Car Park pass
